The big battle rules seem to work well.<br />(At least you had bridges in your battles, unlike that Braveheart rubbish where the Bridge at Stirling Bridge seemed to disappear).<br /><br />I also like how this battle could easily have been called 'The Battle of the North...I mean South...no North Road'.
